Privacy Policy
Last updated: 9 July 2026
This policy explains how Convert Collective handles personal information. Convert Collective is the trading name of Ross McSkimming and Sophie McSkimming, a partnership based in the United Kingdom, who are the data controllers for the purposes of UK data protection law (UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018).
What we collect
This website does not use contact forms, analytics trackers, or advertising cookies. The only personal information we receive through it is what you choose to send us:
- Email enquiries — when you email hello@convertcollective.co.uk, we receive your email address, your name if included, and the contents of your message.
How we use it
We use the information you send us to respond to your enquiry and, if you become a client, to deliver our services and manage our working relationship. The legal basis for this is our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries and, where applicable, the performance of a contract.
We do not sell personal information, use it for automated decision-making, or add you to a marketing list without your consent.
Where it's stored and who we share it with
Email sent to hello@convertcollective.co.uk is delivered via Cloudflare's email routing service to a mailbox provided by Google (Gmail). This website is hosted by Cloudflare. These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments, and transfers outside the UK are protected by appropriate safeguards such as the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.
We don't share your information with anyone else unless required by law.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry emails for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards. Records relating to client work are kept for up to six years to meet legal, accounting, and tax obligations.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data; to object to or restrict our processing of it; and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@convertcollective.co.uk.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
Changes to this policy
If how we handle personal information changes — for example, if we add a contact form or analytics to this site — we'll update this policy and the date at the top of the page.
